I knew the name "Allie Ziebell", but did some extra checking for
myself and, so for those interested:
Allie is in the class of 2024. 6' 0" by my most recent search.
She has been listed as a PG and a SG. She will be a Junior
at Neenah H.S. in Neenah, Wisconsin. Neenah is approx.
40 miles Southwest of Green Bay and is on Lake Winnebago.
Allie plays for Wisconsin Flight Elite, EYBL 17 U. She is right
handed but under the basket will score with either her right
or left hand. She runs the floor very well. Obviously, she is
an excellent three pointer shooter and Allie lead the State
of Wisconsin in scoring as a sophomore. She has a quick
release. Her breakout game this past July was at the
"RUN 4 the Roses" in Louisville with had 1,500 teams (? ?), all
age groups. She was the MVP in the Finals of a 2021 tournament
(AAU?) where she scored thirty points on ten for twelve shooting.
One report (which maybe not the most recent?) has Allie as #9 on the
ESPN Hoop Girlz webpage and # 20 on the All-Star Girls Report
(ASGR). During the 2020-2021 season she averaged 19.8 ppg
with a FG % of .604, a three point % of .416, and a free throw
% of .851 (this may have been a partial season, i.e. Twenty-two games).
Her assist to turn over ration was > 1.0 from that same report. These all
appear to be Freshman stats. There was a stat of her sophomore year
that reported her per game points average as 30.7 ppg (CAN THIS BE TRUE?
I will have to reconfirm this rather high number).
Ms. Ziebell has over thirty college offers including Marquette,
Minnesota, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt (this is on the Vandy mania
.com web page) and IOWA (on the Hawkeye Report).
She reminds me of Taylor Robertson of Oklahoma but with
a better "engine" and some better under the basket moves.
Any corrections or updates would be appreciated. If she
is a friend of KK Arnold.... Keep up the excellent work, KK! Bring her
on board! Z
