After a week-long break between games, the UConn women’s basketball team returns to the court on Sunday to face Florida State in the Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase at Mohegan Sun Arena.
It was finals week for the Huskies. While each player was focused on studying and taking exams, the week off from games also gave them time to rest and get ample recovery time. And with six of UConn’s 12 players already missing at least one game or more due to injury — the time off was duly needed.
