No - we cant compete in all the individual sports like tennis, golf, swimming with the likes of Stanford. We get nothing out of the spring season. Would be nice to see women's lax grow into something, but it hasn't happened yet.

With the strength of soccer and baseball in recent years, as well as basketball, we really have an impressive portfolio of athletic accomplishments.

It's too bad that the only sport that matters is the one where we have the least talent and clout.

We were 48th in mens sports and 10th in women last year. Id guess we would move up this year but, as another poster indicated, we don't participate in enough sports to beat the folks higher up on the list.

That's because of the way they pick the sports they rate.

One year we won the men's BB NC and the made a BCS Bowl Game in football and didn't make the top ten.
