Would be a great weekend to have recruits if Ray Ray is still around.

Can't hurt having both, assuming Lamb declares.

With RB and two more years of SN after this one, another shooting guard and one more big man would be just what the doctor ordered.

I think a sf is more important then a sg for 2012; could be wrong...

I agree with Scote. A big man and then another is SG.

Daniels, Giffey and Roscoe all SF. Only SG on the roster would be Calhoun.

He was at LA Fitness on the tpke last night. Had a friend call and start bragging that she met him. So hopefully he's around for a while!

also Purvis is also trying to be a PG apparently so he would play both spots

This makes no sense to me. Why would we go after a sg trying to transition to pg, vs Dunn who was a local kid that was a true pg?

Look, Dunn did what he knew was best for UCONN. He declared to PC pushing Drummond to Storrs. In my mind, I could not be happier that we lost the Dunn sweepstakes, and for his contribution to the program would like to award him status as an honorary Husky. We appreciate his sacrifice in joining that God-Awful program to gift-wrap Drummond for us :)

I see Giffey as more of a 2 guard but the difference between a 2 and 3 always seem to get a bit fuzzy.

Usually shooting guards are guys who can drive to the hoop and shoot the ball well. Giffey cannot do either. However, he can run the floor, play good defense against fairly tall and athletic players, and rebound fairly well. That seems like a small forward to me.

to me Giffey can't handle the ball well enough to be a two guard but he is somewhat smart with the ball so maybe this year he turns into more of a two.

Not sure about that. Last season he was good for at least one ridiculously sloppy pass that quickly went the other way per game.

We have a real shot. UCONN, Memphis, Ohio State, NC State. And I think Missouri is still involved too. No one is really sure who leads.
