It's going to be a big boost to the Huskies to get out of the brutal travel schedule the AAC meant for them, A huge boost particularly for this year given the very youthful club.

Yeah the schedule the last few years was ridiculous. Hopefully the home and away games can be spread out a little better in this conference. There were times when UConn went nearly two months between home games.

Geno and CD did the best they could. You had Notre Dame and Louisville leaving for the ACC, and then the Catholic schools got together and said they didn't want UConn. I thought the AAC was respectable with teams like USF and UCF improving because of UConn.
