True, I remember Mora saying on a podcast with Chris Long about recruiting, he'd " be real hesitant about taking a portal guy who has done this a second time"....how about a 4th !
 
Even without Knight, think we have some solid depth here, but having a second bruiser to go along with Robert Burns would have been nice.

True....I thought it might have been a sign when I originally posted this and they moved Clark to RB a couple of days ago, at least for the scout team.
 
Rosa at 198 lbs is kind of surprising. I feel like he looks a little smaller than that. Like ~180ish lbs. Definitely a strong kid.
 
Pretty crazy decision.

We'll be fine, but sure is a sad situation. Tis a shame to have all that talent and not be willing to compete through an entire fall camp.

Now what? He can't play this fall....another season lost.....clock is about up. Would have been better to play with UConn and transfer this December.

Currently there are over 20 double numbers. Of course, it not a big problem in camp because they have a blue team and a white team. Also there are no spectators. But when the season starts, there are often two 7s or 14s on the field at the same time especially on special teams. TV announcers often screw this up.

It's not a big deal. But it can be confusing. Just sayin.

I’m pretty sure rules state that players with the same number can’t be on the field of play at the same time. So if both players who wear #7 were to play on special teams, one of them would have to don a different number for that play.

In limited carries Burns showed burst and power. I would have liked to see him get more carries personally, over Mensah.

Good call, he was listed at LB earlier in camp, #88. Another camp departure like Knight or Uconn misprint ?

Yeah, waiting to get word on this....seemed to go missing about a week ago or so.

Brown was a good athlete that projected as a LT with time. Maybe this gets him on the field sooner and I do like him in the blocking package.
