Doesn't Comcast own Infinity, Peacock and NBC Universal TV?
If so, it kinda makes sense that if you are paying for Comcast, then the others would be included...

I think so but I don't have Xfinity/Comcast for television service... I only have them for internet.....

I didn't know that even if you only use Xfinity/Comcast for internet they will give you the premium version of Peacock free (without commercials I guess) if you have at least 1 gig of internet service. (I have 2 gigs).

So I downloaded the Peacock app to my TV and sure enough it's free.....There is a category specifically for Big East games.

I would NEVER pay for this site because it's a very cheap version of Netflix....Nothing very interesting, movies and TV series wise

I have been subscribed to Peacock for a couple of years and the only thing that I have watched is the two seasons of Poker Face. And I really don't think it is that great of a show. But at least I am ready for UConn WBB games.

An update re: Peacock

If you have Xfinty/Comcast for only internet (no cable tv) with at least a gig then the Peacock premium is FREE. You can download the app on any streaming device. We have a Nvdia Shield.

You just scan the QR code after you download it to your tv and log on from your phone or tablet.

I didn't know this until I called Xfinity last night. (Waited 30 minutes of course to speak to a human)

But it's there.

It's also a shame that it has come to this.

Agree, its totally a shame that it's come to this. Basketball Capitol Of The World where the BCOTW fans are left to sort out the myriad ways to watch the UConn games in addition to paying out more dollars. Welcome to the future of sports broadcasting that is targeted to a younger audience that prefers the "independence" of streaming instead of viewing on-the-air broadcasts. It was so great just turning on SNY and watching a game. Now? I'll figure it all out sometime, hopefully I'll still be around to watch.

With YouTube TV you should have no problem watching most of the regular season games using the channels offered by YTTV.
To get the 7 regular season games and the Big East Tournament, you'll need to use the Peacock streaming app.
Some internet providers and cable providers seem to have the Peacock service for free while others do not. Not sure about YouTube TV offering it as a free add on. If it isn't free to you, you need download the app like you downloaded the YouTubeTV app (I am guessing that you have a smart TV) and then subscribe to an applicable Peacock plan.
Or you can check to see if YouTube TV offers it as a paid add-on.

You may be able to "pause" the subscription rather than canceling it. I do that with other services. It's faster and easier in my opinion than canceling and resubscribing.

For what it's worth, I watched men's games on Peacock last season. The broadcast quality is excellent in the production is professionally done with decent quality broadcasters. Yes, having to subscribe to Peacock is an annoyance, but it isn't particularly expensive (especially if you wait for the black Friday deal, which was $19.99 last year, but I think will be $24.99 this year, so essentially two dollars a month) and the quality of the broadcast is solid. Not the worst thing in the world.

You do realize that there's quite a few UConn WBB fans that don't live in the SNY and YES market.
I don't but I don't think I missed more than a couple of SNY broadcasts because the games were available on the Fox Sports App.
I will miss the SNY broadcast team but I truly believe that many UConn fans will have have greater/easier access to the regular season games this season due to them having access to a cable or streaming service provider. As far as I can see, only the 7 games on Peacock are not on "basic" cable or on the two major streaming services, Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV. I have no idea if Apple TV offers the national TV channels required to view the UConn games.

Since I can't access NBC Sports Boston, I was looking for a way to listen on the radio. For the exhibition games October 13, the men's game lists the radio as UConn Sports Network 97.5. However the women's game has no radio outlet listed. Anybody hear otherwise?

I think Kara did an excellent job. She didn't pull any punches and told it like it is....I am guessing that Kara/Meghan are not coming to the new network?

I agree about John Smoltz too. He is a terrific announcer. The Yankees should definitely get him. I liked Joe Buck too.

She may well have. But some of us wouldn't know, for the last 2 years, we haven't been able to see any of the studio or extra content. Nothing, nada, zero.
