Definitely a good thing to have the extra rest, IMO. Bazz and Boat both played 40+ minutes tonight. 'Nova obviously had a game too but I doubt they exerted themselves as much, and they don't rely on their guards like we do.

9:45!!!! So if you get an OT game beforehand, that means 10:15 or later. Good grief. I was hoping for a lot earlier. No respect!
 
I don't have any hard facts on hand and am too lazy to look it up. But if my memory serves me correctly, we have started sluggish in these late starts.

Don't mind the time.

The alternative could have been the season ending and boredom and indifference.

No better feeling than the season extending.
 
I am not complaining by any means. Just stating my thoughts. I don't know of a website that has the tip times of every game and/or where to find box score breakdown of more specific time intervals than 1st/2nd half.
 
Works for me, taking the family to see the globetrotters at 7. Should be home just in time for tip,
 
Oh that's great news. Mrs. 8893 thought halftime last night was a good time to introduce the idea of us going out to dinner with another couple on Saturday night. Suffice to say that my response led to a very chilly night. Now I can do both with ease.

Whew! Was hoping for the afternoon, but this works. My daughter was at a sleepover party last night and will be again Saturday, so my wife insisted on a date night/dinner out one of those two. I rolled the dice and went out to watch the game last night. Looks like I'm clear, as we'll be back by 9:45 easy.

I agree that the late games dove tail into the Spokane site better, but I fail to see where UConn is disrespected in this instance. UConn is the 7 seed. Teams seeded 5 and below are typically not those to whom the Selection Committee caters.

Think about 'Nova. They are theoretically one of the top eight teams in the country and both of the their opening site games are at least an hour after their target fanbase for growth is in bed. Take a nap and wake up at 9:30. I'm sure you'll get over the personal slight to you by the hand of the NCAA.

The bright side to being the last game to tip is that the mojo can focus solely on delivering a UConn W.
 
There is a God!!!! I have a party for my boss at 6pm on Saturday and was terrified I'd be watching this game on mute in the background of the room.
 
Well, I won't be driving back and forth now....I agree that the extra rest will help given that we had a much tougher game than Villanova.
 
I like the 9:45pm start. Its a Saturday night, no need to wake up extra early Sunday. Our game is in the spotlight. And like some said, the team can use the extra hours.
