If we can't block on the line MAC isnt going to be the guy to go with

The SEC announcers sound pleasantly amazed that it's this easy for Vandy. Says a lot about the state of our offense.

what happened to establishing the ground game?

Receivers are the main issue here. They cannot get open through tight man to man coverage, except Griffin. On that sack, McEntee had plenty of time to throw the ball considering they brought 6. SOMEONE has to get open.

This must be karma biting me in the ass for laughing at RU & Cuse today.

Is anybody else out there laughing at some of these posts? Again its the first half of first real game.

Two dropped int don't help.

Ah... It's like sitting in the stands pissing and moaning to your seat mates. No harm - no foul.

I guess learning new and complicated offense should only take 1.5 games. It's a long year folks. Time to breathe.

Vandy is also adjusting to a new coaching staff. Our DL is noticably tired.

So that means, we should watch this abortion of a game in silence? We shouldn't note that they are getting their asses kicked by Vanderbilt?

Miscommunications are understandble. Poor blocking is not.

We could use a TO badly...

Which part of learning the offense was having complete anarchy on the field and allowing a 40 yard TD run because they couldn't even figure out which 11 guys should be on the field?

I tend to agree... but is Johhny's problem that he hasn't learned enough of the offense yet?

We did then they started putting 11 guys to stop the run becasue we can't pass

Then how can you not complete some out routes for more than 2 yards?

We scored 40 on these guys last year because they played mostly zone, allowing receivers like Difton to get open on slants.

Our defense is playing fine.
