I'm not a huge UCLA guy but I do think number 2 is a good shooter. Watch out for her.

They have completely taken the paint away from us. Hopefully these 3's will loosen them up a little bit.

This team ain't going away. You have to make them go away.

Isn't that something like 18 of her last 22 3s for Kia?

Some uncharacteristic stuff UConn is doing.

I'm of a differing of opinion - there is no flow yet in this game for the Huskies.

Right now UConn is leading through execution and poise.

Boneheaded foul by UCLA leads to 3 extra points to end the quarter for UConn.

Nice box out executed by Pheese for the 2.

So... multiplying it out, we win by 36. Maybe or maybe not.

Baskets in the Paint after 1
UCLA 4
UConn 3

Huskies must do better than that.

It's been choppy but I'm starting to see the Bruins starting to foul and that may have an affect on them. UConn is slowly getting back to themselves and their passing is getting much crisper. Ball movement helps them immensely.

I'm not sure they were ready for the intensity UCLA brought early.

I don't know, I think it's just jitters myself. A lot of teams play them with great intensity in the first half until they run out of gas.
