Apologies if this was mentioned elsewhere. My wife saw on Facebook that the game drew the highest viewership of any women's game this season, and rates as one of the highest ever. I did a quick search and here's a link to an article on the viewership:
From my perspective, what a win-win situation for UConn. First, for any casual visitors watching the game because of the historic rivalry, what a great first half. Second, for all viewers, they got to see prime and beautiful UConn basketball in the second half.
