I have implemented that rule of no betting on UConn men/women since I lost a significant $amount in Vegas one time betting the UConn women to cover a 19 point spread - thought it would be easy money. Lesson learned.

As someone who attended all but a few Big East Tournaments, I have to say Syracuse owned the Garden until 1990 and from then on they slowly drifted away as UConn took it over. Their fans can laugh but only to hide the tears.
