Top 9th, Trumpour walks the leadoff batter, followed by a single that puts runners on the corners, a run scores on a sac fly for the 1st out. 4-0 St. John's.

After a 1 out single that puts 2 runners on base, Trumpour comes out of the game, Hamberger takes the mound.

Hamberger gets a ground out to end the inning with no more runs coming in.
 
Bottom 9th, after Marshall gets hit by a pitch with 1 out, Marshall steals 2B with 2 outs, the UConn offense has a scoreless inning, St. John's gets a 4-0 win.

Very disappointing. Really needed game 1 to make a series win easier. Sweeping a doubleheader isn't easy, so they've got their work cut out for them.

With 2 outs Suchy issues an intentional walk putting runners on the corners, a fly out ends the inning. 2-0 St. John's.

Balasario gets lucky. Not sure what is wrong with this team. Why is Rispoii sacrificing in the 4th inning. Are we that desperate for a run, but with the 8 & 9 hitters coming up. Only reason we get the run is they gifted on an error. Not sure what we are doing?

Must there be a review on every throw over to 1B come on hand clearly on the bag. Gotta be more careful though.
