UConn vs SMU game thread

Chasing the first missed FG. I think letting Tarbutt try from there was the way to go. We are gonna need a kicker to win these games.
 
We move the ball really well, but are not finishing drives. Mark of inexperience, I guess. Once things start clicking consistently, we should score a lot more.

Normally I'd agree, but that decision was made because of the scoreline as much as the distance...
 
We should recruit the Cyclone Rake for our defense, they are both really good at sucking

It feels like that roughing the punter really swung the half. Hard to be too mad since it's a penalty made out of aggression - overall, despite the 21 points, the defense looks a lot better.
 
At least it's nice to see multiple punt returns in a season again.

If we block the punt and make the FG, we are at least up 16-14 and we kick that last one. Defense is still bad, playing a bit better but not why we are behind.
 
HOLY a punt return that went for decent yardage! I forgot what those looked like.
 
Worst throw by BS is a while.
 
sometimes we defend that bubble screen great. Other times terrible. Go I hate the bubble screen!!!!!! I think we should have kicked that field goal. Tarbott had some distance to spare on both of this so far. If he makes it, 1 score game, if he misses.. well it's no worse than that throw Shireffs tried to squeeze in there.
