UConn vs SMU game thread

We went 1 for 2 regarding Coordinators. Let’s built on our new strength and correct our mistake. Hear there is a football job at St Joe’s open.

D = lack of speed!! lack of speed. We were spoiled by our past D backs who are now in the NFL. I'm sure over time this will be corrected. But let's hope new and shiny OFFENSE can well answer.
 
Gonna have to out score em. It's your game offense.
 
Would love to see Summers D up one of their top two receivers on third down. And a double team on the next guy. I know it's not part of the scheme. But third Downs are too easy against our defense.
 
Everyone in the secondary should have “TOAST” on the back of their jerseys.

In 3 and one half games this year, this team has improved and progressed more that it did under Pasqua-looney and Fiasco combined. We do have some talent and it's beginning to understand the new systems. We're still likely to win fewer than 5 games. We still have to be more dominant on the Offensive line. Still need to get more pressure on the quarterback. But at the very least, we are watchable again, and at best, we have a ton of potential.

For those nay-sayers that have been bad mouthing the first few games...don't watch for a year...then come back and be amazed.
