Geez I wish our guys picked up that ball - looks like a backwards pass
Ball went OB.

Beavers has been the only guy all year to show enough speed to come in off the edge
It could have been worse...
meh. fix a couple stupid mistakes and we're in the lead. defense has showed some progress
Order of the Beaver!!!
Good teams don't make those mistakes and we have zero yards rushing.I can honestly say that SMU is not a better team than us. We've made about 3 mistakes that are responsible for the score right now.
Let's hope we clean it up and they don't...
That roughing the punter killed us in the first half. Can't be mad at how the D is playing compared to prior weeks. Some serious weapons on SMU's side of the ball and you can tell the D is playing with all they have. Shireffs has to play better in the second half. Better vision and better balls.
Mensah missed a big block that got Shirreffs hit pretty hardQuick thoughts on that half:
-Shireffs has decent numbers because of the scheme and strong play of his supporting cast. He missed an open guy to stall the opening drive, and again on that last drive. He has made no difficult throws; the skill players are getting YAC yardage. He is simply not a good quarterback and I would love to see this offense with better QB play.
-Beavers and Fortt both look like difference makers going forward and are badly needed on a defense lacking playmakers
-Mensah is playing like a true freshman
Misssd this:
I saw him up there, wasn't sure if it was a new thing or not. Honestly I don't think being in the box is what's helping, but if they think it is then keep doing it.

25 offenses in CFB. He may not be great, but he's not terrible either. If we had any semblance of a D, we would very competitive.
