Geno has had homecoming games in a player’s junior year when the home & home schedule has UConn visiting before the visitor comes to CT

Technically it is her senior year

That would really screw up the WNBA draft. Teams have to have bad seasons for the last 3 years to qualify for the draft lottery. If anyone is tanking to get Paige, there could be chaos if she decided to stay. Of course, I would love if she did.

So what would have happened if the Lynx won first pick? Would Cheryl have put on a full court press to get her into the WNBA for 2023 in her home state? I think under those circumstances, she would have picked Paige over Boston although that would be a tough decision with the retirement of Fowles

since Azzi’s b-day is in november, i believe she will be eligible for the draft after her junior year (she will be 22 in the year the draft takes place). who is to say she stays for her senior year. of course that’d be nice for them to all stay tho!
