KY has a decent game plan except the idea they can beat up Kelly. That part is working about as well as could be expected.

.-.
Kentucky looks gassed but in the previous round the announcers kept talking about their 40 minutes of pressure and how intense their training is, and how they play 10-12 players and substitute in waves. So I don't get why they are gassed, they got deeper than us.

True meganmatters, and now KY also has to play from behind AND in a hurry.

Mo will be ok, I think. She's a toughie.

Minor note- I love how Stef is being patient with her passing after rebounding, not letting UK get a cheap turnover.

It's her right knee so possibly a collision bc she was driving from left side. Could obviously be a sprain too, but I have my fingers crossed

Kentucky ran themselves ragged with that furious start. Now they can't hit a basket.
Once the legs get tired you start to hit the front of the rim on shots because the usual mechanics don't get you to the normal release point...I was waiting for O'Neill to cool off for precisely that reason. :)

Agreed VA, I didn't like that she had t throw the ball up because of the knee injury.

.-.
Per Holly Rowe's comments it sounds like a "tweak" (slight sprain)

UConn fitness/S&C is no joke. It's rare to gas a Uconn team. What a block !!!

Are the announcers still going on and on about how great Kentucky is, how their fitness and 40 minutes of hell are 2nd to none, and how they have UCONN on their heels a bit? Just curious!
