Bottom 7th, Padilla and Biller lead off the inning with walks. They both steal bases to put runners on the corners with no outs. With 1 out Rispoli is hit by a pitch to load the bases. Shpur has a fielders choice ground out for the 2nd out that brings in a run and puts runners on the corners. 9-3 UConn.

Shpur steals 2B, but that is it for the UConn offense this inning. 9-3 UConn.
 
Bottom 8th, MacArthur pinch hits for Root. With 2 outs, Dougherty gets a single and Padilla draws a walk. Biller follows with a double that drives in 2 runs, Biller moves to 3B on a throw. 11-3 UConn. Lane follows with an RBI double, 12-3 UConn.

Caruso takes the mound for UConn. Alejandro is warming up.

Alejandro walks the 1st batter he faces. Alejandro strikes out the next batter, the runner moves to 2B on a wild pitch, and moves to 3B on another wild pitch. A double drives in a run, 12-4 UConn.

A ground out ends the game, UConn wins 12-4.
