Ordered 4 last week. I wanted the upper corner seats at $77 per ticket. I called my rep and she looked over ehwre they were at with sales and was very confident I would get my allotment fulfilled. I received my confirmation email today. $77 for a corner upper (lower rows) is a great price for anything at MSG in 2024. I would say we will see comparable prices for comparable seats at the xl center this season.
 
I perused courtside seats for the fun of it. $ 2,500 and $ 3,600 per

One hour before tip, they'll be selling for like $ 500 like they were for the BET

I placed an order for 4 through the school as well. Since we don't get many big name OOC games at home, traveling to NYC is a must. Especially since I love MSG. Indiana, Texas and UNC last year were all better than any OOC game available to season ticket holders

I believe that changes going forward. Then again, maybe the school makes a bunch of extra money playing these marquee matchups in NY

Gonzaga's 6'7" wing, Steele Venters (expected to play a huge role in Few's offense this coming season) was lost for the season to an achilles injury. He had just come back from an ACL tear.

Brutal.

Two awful injuries in consecutive years. Hope for a full recovery and a return to college basketball next season.

At 6'7, Venters averaged 15.3 ppg at Eastern Washington and hit 37% of his threes, so he's a deadly spacer w/ size.

In his place, the addition of Khalif Battle is huge as my guess Mark Few will roll out a starting backcourt of Nembhard, Hickman and Battle, which is pretty darn good.

Behind those three, they've still got more depth than last year. Expect Dusty Stormer to be even better in year two and he'll backup the 2 and the 3.

The addition of sophomore Emmanuel Innocenti is intriguing too. Playing under Billy Gillispie in Tarleton State, the 6'5 Innocenti was an All-WAC Defensive Team pick and averaged 7 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and nearly 2 steals per game, making him a versatile glue guy backcourt weapon.
 
WE the crowd at MSG need to erupt when we go on a 4 or 6 pt run to add to the pressure Gonzaga will be under guarding our team. Storrs South will be on fire.
 
Going off on a slight tangent, but does anyone know when March Madness tix go on sale?

It will be packed depending on our seed/opponent. There weren’t many UConn fans at Barclays for the 1/16 game. Can’t speak to the NWestern game but I heard it was close to even.

I was at the Northwestern game. The crowd was majority UConn, but a surprising # of NW fans turned out. I'd say it was like 65/35 or 60/40 UConn fans. Wildcat fans did get pretty loud the few times they had something to cheer for.

Good to know. I’m still a bit salty that I bought Barclays tickets way in advance and then the get in price was like 20 bucks with empty seats everywhere. Maybe the AMP would be different.

Yeah I COULD see UConn fans not going also due to the fact were spoiled now and as a high seed people assume a Win. LOL. However I think the AMP is much easier to get in and out of than Brooklyn is/was. So that's reason I think if they are put there more would travel. But I could be wrong.

I would say any arena in the surrounding states is easier to get to than Barclays (by car at least).
 
There is no comparison to what the demand will be if we are at the Amp compared to what Barclays was. Casuals are scared of Brooklyn, and I admit that it is a slog to deal with for people not familiar with it. It's not an easy venue to attend for a quick in and out from a couple hours away. Providence on the other hand is very easy and a lot less intimidating for those same average Joes. So many people who wouldnt dare deal with the logistics of Brooklyn have no issue dealing with Providence. If we are slotted at the Amp it is going to be insanity in that city for a couple days.

Crowd was pretty good for the round of 32 games at Barclays...are you talking about the opening round game against...uh.....Stetson was it? I recall that game being pretty sparsely attended.

Yeah. When I bought tickets months in advance I expected us to be good. Didn’t expect #1 overall seed good. I get why no one wanted to go to the Stetson game. 2pm tip as well didn’t help.
 
UConn got shafted big time with both start times with Friday afternoon and Sunday night. It was nice getting cheap tickets Friday but Sunday was brutal for those traveling from out of state and the tickets were super expensive to add insult to injury.
 
Wait 30-90min before game-time and watch the ticket prices crash...

Why do people even buy tickets early nowadays? It makes no sense unless its like instant sellout event (super bowl, etc)

accurate as a practical matter but discounts those that prefer the certainty of tickets in hand and a known seat location

I’ve always wondered how long you can wait to purchase where it’s guaranteed you’ll get the ticket in time for tip off? Any insight?

It really depends on the game, supply and demand, etc. It's a tricky situation that is often hard to forecast.

More times than not you will pay under face value. However, no guarantees and you might pay 50% more if demand is there.

Stetson had a ton of tix for many reasons. Northwestern didn't have much supply at all.
