That is why a barn on campus makes so much sense. 2000 or so on an early November Tuesday vs a meh team is good on campus. In Hartford it’s awful

Yup. I thought there was about 1800 or so last night. That game was a yawner too. Hard to get people pumped up for a Tuesday nighter out of conference game against Brown .

There is one big perk that UConn usually gets when one of the Husky teams play in Hartford. The Courant almost without fail will cover the game. This is not always the case when UConn plays in Storrs. The baseball team is the perfect example of this, the games that are played in Hartford will get covered while those played at J.O. Christian usually do not get covered. From my memory, since UConn joined Hockey East the Courant has sent a reporter to cover the hockey games. That is, until last night. No Courant byline on the brief story they had on the Brown game last night, it was pretty much a rewrite of the release that appeared on the UConn website.
