I followed the directions to go to a Fox Sports website, I entered the code that showed up on my tv screen, it thanked me for signing in with my tv provider, said I could proceed to the game, but when I did, it still closes me out!!!!
I am casting it to my tv from my iPad. It’s working but it’s a little slow

Another year, another "This program is not available for streaming." One of the things that money can't buy,So my recommendation for all out of market fans would be to review the thread "The Official How To Get SNY tech help thread" that is pinned near the top of this forum.
I would also recommend that you access the Fox Sports App prior to 6:55PM on Thursday in case people have difficulty.
Obviously if you do this before game time, odds are the game will not be on the app's schedule.
One last thing, if you consistently had issues using the Fox Sports App last season, you could still have the same issues this season.

Edit: I opened the Fox Sports App and the game is listed on the Home page in the UPCOMING section. Unfortunately, it is scheduled for 7PM on Friday

Apologies Irish. Just saw this. Possibly it worked for me bc I have YouTubeTv? Do you have something else? It gave me 5 minutes to watch the game, then asked me to sign in to my youtubetv app using a QR code. Worked fine after that.
I do have YouTube TV. I logged in the app with my credentials. Maybe I will try that again on Sunday. I’ll log out of YouTube TV on Fox App then sign back in with the QR code. If that doesn’t work, ♀️ I will try something else. Casting did work, but it’s not the best. If I switch to Hulu Live TV, then I will lose 2 sports channels for 1 SNY. I reeeeely don’t want to do that if possible.
Just wondering if you live in the SNY market but your tv provider no longer offers SNY.
I tried the laptop, did’nt work. I used my IPad and cast it to my tv. That worked for a while. It was a little glitchy.
Now I am totally blown away. If you can receive it on one device but not on any others, it is beyond me. I spent my last 20+ years of working as a software tester, starting off using desktop computers, then laptops, then browsers for web based applications, ending with cell phones. This meant testing different operating systems and verifying that whatever applications I was testing worked correctly on every platform the application was going to be available on.
I have mostly Apple products (not a crazy fan girl, I just like them.) Sometimes different apps don’t play nice even if they are downloaded from the App Store. When I did the cast, the choice was either my TV Sony, XBR-65x900f or my Roku Ultra. I chose the TV first. It worked although it was a little slow. Maybe because I was running all kinds of devices at the same time? Then at about halfway through the second half, it started glitching again.

So I rebooted everything and tried casting to the Roku. Big mistake, it went right to the Fox Sports app and gave me the same “not available for streaming” message. I think it’s because I have that app on Roku. I do not use any of the apps on the TV. I stream with either the Apple TV4K box or the Roku Ultra. I went back to casting on the TV but since I rebooted everything, it didn’t work, \
Serious frustration ahead.
I switched to Hulu Live for the season. $60.00 for 3 months includes ESPN+ so I’ll deal with it for this last year of Paige @ UConn.
