[ Heavy sigh ] ....after a loud, unprintable scream....Join the screaming crowd, drweo.
Apologies Irish. Just saw this. Possibly it worked for me bc I have YouTubeTv? Do you have something else? It gave me 5 minutes to watch the game, then asked me to sign in to my youtubetv app using a QR code. Worked fine after that. It’s not working for me!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!
I do have YouTube TV. I logged in the app with my credentials. Maybe I will try that again on Sunday. I’ll log out of YouTube TV on Fox App then sign back in with the QR code. If that doesn’t work, ♀️ I will try something else. Casting did work, but it’s not the best. If I switch to Hulu Live TV, then I will lose 2 sports channels for 1 SNY. I reeeeely don’t want to do that if possible.Apologies Irish. Just saw this. Possibly it worked for me bc I have YouTubeTv? Do you have something else? Just wondering if you live in the SNY market but your tv provider no longer offers SNY.
I tried the laptop, did’nt work. I used my IPad and cast it to my tv. That worked for a while. It was a little glitchy.Just wondering if you live in the SNY market but your tv provider no longer offers SNY.
Some fans that lost SNY from their tv provider reported this issue in previous seasons when trying to use the Fox Sports App. I have no idea if using a computer could result in different access behavior.
Now I am totally blown away. If you can receive it on one device but not on any others, it is beyond me. I spent my last 20+ years of working as a software tester, starting off using desktop computers, then laptops, then browsers for web based applications, ending with cell phones. This meant testing different operating systems and verifying that whatever applications I was testing worked correctly on every platform the application was going to be available on.I tried the laptop, did’nt work. I have mostly Apple products (not a crazy fan girl, I just like them.) Sometimes different apps don’t play nice even if they are downloaded from the App Store. When I did the cast, the choice was either my TV Sony, XBR-65x900f or my Roku Ultra. I chose the TV first. It worked although it was a little slow. Maybe because I was running all kinds of devices at the same time? Then at about halfway through the second half, it started glitching again. Now I am totally blown away. I will admit that I don't know much about Apple because most every company I worked for did not support Apple products, except Iphones at the end of my career.
)/ I t was very frustrating. So tomorrow, the game is on SNY again. 17 more games on SNY. Fox won’t let us watch because we have YouTube TV? So I rebooted everything and tried casting to the Roku. Big mistake, it went right to the Fox Sports app and gave me the same “not available for streaming” message. I think it’s because I have that app on Roku. I do not use any of the apps on the TV. I stream with either the Apple TV4K box or the Roku Ultra. Serious frustration ahead.
I switched to Hulu Live for the season. $60.00 for 3 months includes ESPN+ so I’ll deal with it for this last year of Paige @ UConn.I don't think having YouTube TV is the problem unless you live in the SNY market and YouTube TV doesn't offer SNY.
I was a YouTubeTV subscriber from 2019 until 2021 and I was able to use the Fox Sports App on my Roku and Firestick as an out of market fan. I only dropped YouTubeTV when they dropped the ESPN channels for a weekend during basketball season and I immediately switched to Hulu Live.
I'm sorry that I can't help you.

Were you able to watch the live stream of the game this afternoon? We temporarily switched to Hulu Live. $60.00 a month for 3 months and it includes ESPN+
So We’ll put up with it for this last season of Paige and SNY. Enjoy the season!![]()
