Top 5th, Spiriton gives up a leadoff single.

Groen runs into the wall trying to catch a foul ball and is hurt, he comes out of the game. Belisario moves to RF, and Biller takes over in LF.

Spirito gives up another no out single, an error by Spirito on a bunt brings in a run and puts 2 runners in scoring position. Game tied at 5.

A 1 out single drives in 2 runs. 7-5 BC.

With 1 out the runner steals 2B, advances to 3B on a fly out for the 2nd out.

Spirito comes out of the game with an injury. Caruso takes the mound.

Caruso gets the final out of the inning with a fly out. 7-5 BC.

Top 6th, Caruso gives up a 1 out single and a 2 out walk on which the runner steals 3B after having advanced to 2B on a ground out. Caruso comes out of the game. Galusha takes the mound with runners on the corners.

The runner at 1B steals 2B. Caruso gives up a 2 out 3 run homer, 10-5 BC going to the bottom of the inning.

Wolff comes out of the game. Cameron Mayer takes the mound with a runner on 2B and no outs.

Mayer walks the 1st batter he faces, and the runner at 2B advances to 3B on an error by Mayer. A bunt single brings in another run with no out. 14-6 BC.

Mayer has another throwing error on a pick off attempt, the runners both move into scoring position with 1 out. A runner is thrown out at home on a fielders choice ground out for the 2nd out. A single drives in 2 more runs. 16-6 BC.

Mayer gives up another wild pitch, moving the runner to 2B, the runner steals 3B, and a single drives in another run, 17-6 BC.

A walk puts 2 runners on base. The runners both steal a base, and advance another base on a throwing error by Lane bringing in another run. 18-6 BC going to the bottom of the inning.

If the mercy rule is in effect, the game could be over after the bottom of the inning.

Surprised with 2 games, we didn't go with Van Emon and Cooke for these 2 games. Try to get them right, plus important games
 
Bottom 8th, the UConn offense goes down in order, Dougherty pinched hit for Lane. 18-6 BC, they win the game.
 
So at this point, we have the weekend guys, with Abedessa, Hutchinson, Finn, Caruso, Shaw and Afthim out of the pen. We need at least 1 more starter and 2 more pen guys to have a chance getting and thriving in the post season.
