Is this the biggest win to date for the program? Most significant? Until tonight, that is.

IMO, 1st HE game against BC. Evan Richardson goal. 8,089 people still #1

Beating #1 UMass was last yr was huge, but didn’t really mean much.

This season, from the Jekyll n Hyde of a season from the BC wknd to the results after CT ICE, I don’t know if it’s the senior leadership or cav actually starting to coach, but this team is special. Some are saying COTY for cav? I think freeman and Newpower has more to do with it than coach cav

I agree with the 1-0 win over BC. I rank this one in a tie with the 17-18 win over BU. Down 5he whole game and looked out of it then came roaring back to win in OT. Similar energy to this one. As for who gets credit I have to think you need to give Cav credit but I think it doesn’t work without Freeman and Newpower providing senior leadership too.

I do wish we were better on both sides of the power play though.

I’d say the BC game in the HE premier is a no brainer for number one. After that one, the last two weeks are 2 and 3. A win tonight (or even a tie) makes this series #2 and the BU series #3.

Depending on how they finish and perform in the HET, Cav has a good case for HE COY. Don't remember when voting takes place.

Providence up 3-1 on Maine early in the 3rd. Also the rest of tonight’s matchups. Providence and UNH wins would be helpful. We still hold our destiny in our own hands.

Providence hangs on for a 3-2 win and Maine remains stuck at 25 points. Maine has one game remaining at home vs PC next Friday.

For those looking for tonight's game on COX systems, it it being broadcast on NESN+ (1147 on the Southington-Meriden-Cheshire system), not regular NESN.

1147 for Cox in Manchester as well.

Quick 1-0 lead for UMass. Missed the goal due to an Ivy League hoop game that ran long. Thrilling.

Evans is down after being tripped and then being checked into the boards. Refs missed a pretty obvious trip there.

Only took about 10 shots in our end before the penalty.

Another PP. Please!

Edit: that was a good chance, missed wide

.6 seconds left and we give up a penalty shot

Edit: phewwww need a big 3rd period. Gotta get out of here with1 point

Ugliest period we’ve had in a while. Very lucky to only be down one. We look a step slower than we were last night.

All of the other games have gone final.

Winner stays in 2nd, loser drops to 4th, Lowell is 3rd. If game ends in a draw, it’s a 3 way tie at 27 pts with UMass, UConn and Lowell for 2nd place.
