Kind of s frustrating night. I thought UConn dominated play but gave up dumb goals. They also need a scorer. An I’m sort of thinking that the goalie needs a night off. He looked a little slow on a couple of plays to me. The second Lowell goal especially
 
I was encouraged that their play was so much better than last weekend's disaster, so I wasn't that frustrated. They did outplay and outshoot them. I'm sorry they didn't grab the win. UML's goalie Wall made a fantastic save, actually 2 on one play. I thought it would have made Sports center top plays. Missed Jonny Evans. We'll see how they do tonight.
 
No doubt frustrating but they actually played well with seemingly more effort. I thought one of the goals given up by Vomacka was very soft. So in the end frustrating they did not win but maybe this is start of playing better hockey. We looked like the better team for most of the game. We need a good effort tonight but these are the types of games in recent history where we get crushed. Hope that changes.
