Philips w/ lead off single but erased on a Langer DP. Still 6-1 after 5.
 
The offense is what it is at this point. A sweep of the lower tier league teams doesn’t look like it’s in the cards

There have been times this season where Johnson has been brilliant. Other times his control just totally escapes him with a blink of an eye.

businesslawyer was all over this earlier in the year & I agree with him; he was fine as a Sunday starter, giving us 4-5 solid innings. Him moving to the bullpen hurt our starting pitching and relief pitching.
 
I should have left the house earlier... UConn puts up 3 runs in B8. 11-4

Haus coming in for the 9th.
 
Who knew WSU had such a good pitching staff. Offense better wake up or it will be another depressing selection Monday.

Bats started hot in the 1st inning of game 1 then went silent
Sometimes those things happen
Even though it was a low scoring game, I liked what I saw from the pitching staff and defensively for UConn
The second game was never in play for the Huskies
The crowd was disappointing
UConn has to get above that .500 league play mark
