Top 6th, Feole strands two runners on base. Feole is at 118 pitches, so I have to figure that is it for him today.

It really is hard to believe this is the same offense we had earlier this year. You would think as the season goes on it would get even better, not the other way around. I watched some of the Arkansas/LSU game last night and the difference is night and day. Those teams make it look so easy, the ball just pops off the bats. Makes you think our bats are dead or something.

Any time this team gets behind, it turns into a game of hero ball instead of getting on base by any means and driving up the pitch count.

Doubleheader tomorrow, the second game will be on WHUS. Don't know if it will just be streamed or if it will be on the radio.

Unfortunately its the same thing when we get an early lead. We then go silent and let teams back in games. Bottom line is we are a very impatient team and it doesn't appear to be changing any time soon. Last week watching it was driving me nuts, guys were looking at pitches right down the middle and swinging at pitches way out of the strike zone. We have no discipline at the plate.

Hard to score when you wait until 2 outs to get runners on base. Great to see this time it was the exception.
