This offense was staring Cavanaugh in the face all off season. He decided to do nothing about it besides bringing in a transfer forward who has done nothing (Adam Dawe: The Sequel).

Cavanaugh rather go with a roster bloated with grinders instead of trying to take advantage of Wood being here and bring in a couple players with offensive talent. This falls on him.

The loss of Joe Pereira has left a gaping hole that Cavanaugh has never filled.

You're inferring something I wasn't implying. I didn't blame them for anything, I just said they blow. I posted that during the cluster fudge about the player leaving the box early. Up to that point there had been a few interesting calls going both ways. I still don't know why that Union goal was disallowed.

Cavanaugh has lost my support and he will not be replaced for years to come but the program will not take the next step with him in charge. He has reached his ceiling. This was supposed to be “The Year” and it’s already over with 6 months remaining.

I will continue to watch every game and follow the team but Cavanaugh is not the coach to lead this program to the next level. Cav needs to go.

The way this season is going the non season ticket holders might be getting a chance to go to Toscano quite a bit after all!

80 shot attempts by the way for those wondering. 37 made it through. Clearly the edict from the staff was to just throw as many grenades as you can at the opposing goalie and hope something happens.

For comparisons sake, I looked up the QU vs UNH box and those teams were in the 45-50 vicinity of shot attempts each.
