I remember a game in 2018 against ECU when Cate pitched a complete game shutout. It was when UConn was still in AAC. Good crowd for that game. Even KO was there with other coaches.

I had it in my mind this Hartfoed game was next week. Worked late tonight and did not realize until too late to go to game. Have had fun last couple times we have played there.

I enjoyed the ECU and Tulane games at the Dunk. I did not like the Houston game in front of a near sellout crowd (UH was the closest thing to a "rival" we had in the AAC).

Nice work by Tirado ending the game there. I would like to see more of him.

Nice job by the bats saving us 2 innings of arms, and by Hamburger, Peters and Hutchinson taking 3 of them. I’d guess Alejandro or Abadessa gets the start tomorrow, and if we can get 2 innings without getting blown out we’d take it. Again, we have to win tomorrow, but saving Afthim, Cooke, Finn and Shaw as much as possible for the Redman is critical.
