I’m shocked Schandor and Lucas had enough gas left to skate the length of the ice to score that goal after defending.

They were on the ice for more than a minute and skated the length of the ice three times and had to defend in their zone. Lucas had to defend a 3 on 1.

Great effort

That was a good win. We need to back it ip tomorrow. Still alarming the lack of scoring and pathetic power play. Cant wait for tomorrow.

11 years in and they are a team destined to be a bottom half of Hockey East team
Hockey East is a really tough league. BU and BC will always get the best players followed by PC and NU. UConn has its work cut out for it just to be in the 4 to 6 range.

Well deserved win. They were pouring it on in the third period and finally were able to bang home a loose puck.

They’ve had some buzzards luck with goalposts and have poured a ton of shots on goal and off countless defenders who seem to multiply. Carry forward into today and don’t let UMass Lowell score first because once they do they go all defense mode.

Lost in all the noise of this slow offensive start is the great defensive start the team has had. Only 14 goal allowed in 7 games (2 of these were empty netters). If the offense starts clicking, look out.

Todays link for those of you that cannot join us at the XL Center.

Thanks. Will be watching from Maine. Too bad they couldn't work out a game in Portland (2 hours south of Orono & 3 hours from Storrs) against UMaine for one of the three games they play. I took the "Downeaster" (AMTRAK train) from Portland to Durham, NH last year for a game against UNH. The stop in Durham is about 200 yards from the hockey rink. The Senior Citizen's rate was $12 round trip. I couldn't have driven it for that between the gas and tolls.

Whereabouts in Maine? We have a small place up there….agreed a game in Portland would be great. Fun little town
