FBS. Bad FBS, but FBS nonetheless.wherever this is going to be played at, getting a second win in a row against an FCS program isn't too bad

I know, I just like saying they areFBS. Bad FBS, but FBS nonetheless.
Accepting that 22,000 people (if lucky) attending a game in Gillette Stadium made zero sense.Very interesting, I wonder what happened behind the scene to lead to this? Does UConn get a return trip added onto the backend of the agreement?
A few weeks ago at an alumni event, a UConn Foundation organizer announced the game would be played at Gillette.
Agreed. Far closer for most UConn fans, and there will be enough tickets for any UConn fans who want to go. Plus, if the game is competitive there will be far more juice with 20k fans in one small stadium than if lucky the same amount in a larger one.Good news. Gillette would have been horrible.
Doubtful this game will attract 20k. UMASS students will be home for Thanksgiving.Agreed. Far closer for most UConn fans, and there will be enough tickets for any UConn fans who want to go. But, but, but with a little artificial intelligence they could make it look like 65,878.Accepting that 22,000 people (if lucky) attending a game in Gillette Stadium made zero sense.
Good - at that point we'll be playing for a better bowl game (as opposed to hoping for a bowl like this past season), so we should do a stadium takeover and watch the Huskies absolutely destroy the Minutemen. Nothing better than steamrolling them with UConn chants aplenty!!!Doubtful this game will attract 20k. UMASS students will be home for Thanksgiving.
I hope we can only hear our fans all gameAgreed. Far closer for most UConn fans, and there will be enough tickets for any UConn fans who want to go. Plus, if the game is competitive there will be far more juice with 20k fans in one small stadium than if lucky the same amount in a larger one.

UMass struck out on a neutral site for the UConn game, but maybe they should have set their sites on a venue outside of Massachusetts.www.redshirtsports.xyz
Yep everyone's an expert and "has a plan until they're punched in the face ! ".....Does the author realize or care how far the end zones would be from the two ends of the stadium? That you can't expand a football field to utilize the size of a NASCAR infield? That the reason it worked in Bristol, if it did, is because that's the smallest track NASCAR races on?

If size wasn't an issue (yeah, I know) - might be kinda cool one off if it was first couple of weeks of the seasons, not Loudon New Hampshire (beautiful, so no slight intended) the day or so after Thanksgiving.Does the author realize or care how far the end zones would be from the two ends of the stadium? I nominate Rungrado 1st of May Stadium, it would be filled to capacity. The Colosseum in Rome would be great!
There may be a good chance of that looking at ticket sales so far. Not sure of accuracy but this from the UMass ticket site has way more sold out on the UConn side of the field.I hope we can only hear our fans all game

It was fine if you were driving on the track, particularly the outfield course.NHMS was a dump when I was there 20 years ago, can't imagine it's improved with age. It was like the old Foxborough Stadium, only not as nice.
