UConn v. UCF @ 7p on August 30th on ESPNU

Anyone know why we won’t be on ESPN 2? What other game is worthy out there? When this was announced long ago I thought that is were we would land given the early decision to make this game happen for tv.
 
Need make this a traditional 8pm start for Fairfield County fans.

Has this been brought up lately? Can’t turn on ESPN family of networks without seeing NCAA softball for the past month. Wanna catch an NCAA baseball game? Get tickets I guess. Why???? Title IX?!?!

I was going to say suck it up but you have a point. Too bad I’m sure TV is dictating the kickoff time.

The women’s tournament starts first?

Wild guess.

College softball is a better sport than college baseball anyway. Would much rather watch that.

NCAA Softball rates really, really well. Way better than you'd think. Not my cup of tea, but it gets eyeballs.

I will take a half day, but it is hard to get others to get on the road before 4pm. Leave at 4:30 and you do not arrive until 6 - always seams to be the one of the worst traffic days.

No one seems to properly respect the season opener tailgate.

87 days until kickoff? I'd put in for the afternoon off. Maybe the full day, but I don't know how crazy I want to get.
 
 
Weird how there were fewer softball games and more baseball the last few days.

I wonder if that is related to the fact you can’t televise things that aren’t being played.
 
Veering off course - I'd like to comment that I have been watching Badminton on one of those oddball channels lately....I think its NBC Olympic Sports Channel.

Every single softball game last weekend did between 0.6-0.75

Not a single baseball game last weekend did above a 0.19

Interesting take. Guess you would be surprised to know I have kids then and we like to play badminton in the back yard. I don't think our family skills are far off from the international tournaments. Thinking about heading to Thailand to compete and represent the 203.
