Top 7th, Righi leads off with a solo homer. 8-4 UConn.

After the homer Wachter and Menzel get walks, Wachter moves to 3B on a double play. With 2 outs Jemison draws a walk, Jemison steals 2B. Rispoli drives in 2 runs with a double. 10-4 UConn.

Rispoli is left on base.

Two strong outings in a row. It’s too late to play our way into an at large bid, but it’d be nice to get above .500 - and stay above it.

Defense obviously needs to get better but pitching remains mostly solid and the bats have arrived.

Bottom 7th, Shaw gives up a lead off infield single, this is followed by a double play, Shaw ends up having a scoreless inning ending with a strikeout, his 7th strikeout of the game so far. 10-4 UConn.

Top 9th, the UConn offense has a scoreless inning after a leadoff infield single by Jemison followed by a Rispoli walk. 12-4 UConn.
 
Good night for the offense but hitting into these double plays has been irritating.

Cutting down on baserunning mistakes + limited strikeouts = 21 runs in two games.
 
Bottom 9th, Talarico gives up a 1 out double followed by a single that drives in a run. 12-5 UConn.
