This Rutgers pitcher is doing an excellent job of pitch location. He's only walked 1 batter all game, and that was Huber in a situation where he clearly was not trying to give him anything to hit.

Top 7th, after a leadoff bunt single, Coe comes out of the game, Fogell comes in to pitch.

With 1 out, Rutgers loads the bases on a single and a walk. Fogell comes out of the game, Brady Afthim comes in to pitch.

Afthim with a strikeout for the 2nd out, and a ground ball out ends the inning with no runs coming in. 6-5 UConn.

If I were a Rutgers fan, I would be furious at the conservative sac bunting that Rutgers has done all weekend. They're a good offensive team and they have nothing to lose. IMO, they should be playing to win, not to tie.

Don't like the move here. Afthiem has been effective. Leave him in. Bingo. I hate changing pitchers in the middle of an inning when the guy in there has been doing good. Bad move there.
