Out of the BE and back to reality that our pitching staff is not great. Still shocked that we aren't seeing Cooke and Van Emon starting these important midweek games
I guess I still envision the Van Emon from the OU game last year and know he has it in him. Meanwhile while I see some of these pitchers we are throwing out there getting shalacked and struggling with command and find it hard that we can squeeze an inning or two out of him to try and get it rightCooke has been getting a good amount of time out of the bullpen. As for Van Emon, he has not gotten much time pitching in games. He has not had much positive production in games this season. I would like to think that Van Emon might make a comeback like Cooke did as the season progresses. Have to admit that Van Emon for the most part has not had good control of his pitches pretty much for the whole season when he has appeared in games.

The bloop was a good pitch and the Baltimore chop was unlucky.Top 1st, with 1 out Abbadessa gives up 3 singles that load the bases. This is followed by a grand slam. 4-0 URI.
Abbadessa retires the next 2 batters to finally end the inning. 4-0 URI.
