Top 1st, lead off infield single, sac bunt, followed by another single gives URI a 1-0 lead with one out and a runner at 2B.
 
Dunlop gets a strikeout and a ground out to end the inning with URI up 1-0.

Toppa lead off double, and a one out Prato single ties the game at 1 in the bottom of the 1st.
 
Bottom 2nd, Kyler Fedko stranded at 2B after a one out double.
 
Karl Johnson coming in for T5 after leaving bases loaded in B4. Still 2-1

Johnson loads the bases w/ no outs. Out goes Johnson > in comes Wurster and he gets a first pitch double play.

I think Penders and the captains need to gather up all the bats and take them up the hill and bury them right next to Augie and Charlie Storrs and get a new inventory.

Oh well, dental appointment took care of most of this game. Yes, I still have teeth.
 
1-2-3 inning for Wallace, he gets the save, and UConn gets the 2-1 win. Any win is appreciated these days.

In the pregame interview Penders was talking about Dunlop only going a few innings, then having the bullpen get the rest of the work.
 
Good to see Kyler Fedko coming up with a couple of hits. If he gets going that will help.
 
Penders has gone with openers lately with Haus, Dunlop and Wang. Glad to get the win and hopefully not burn anyone out for the weekend.
