Top 1st, after hitting the leadoff batter, Finn has a scoreless inning with the runner thrown out trying to steal 2B for the final out. No score.
 
Bottom 1st, with no outs the UConn offense loads the bases with a single and 2 walks. MacArthur follows with a sac fly for the 1st out, bringing in a run, all the base runners advance a base. 1-0 UConn.

The next batter Root also drives in a run with a sac fly for the 2nd out. 2-0 UConn.

Padilla gets a 2 out walk. Biller follows with a single driving in a run. 3-0 UConn.

The UConn offense leaves 2 runners on base.

After Shpur and Daniels both steal a base, MacArthur is hit by a pitch with 1 out, the bases are loaded again for UConn today, but the runners are left on base. 7-0 UConn.

With 1 out, Daniels steals 2B. MacArthur follows with a single to put runners on the corners. A 2 out RBI single by Padilla, 9-1 UConn going to the 6th inning.

Caruso comes out of the game, West takes the mound.

West gives up 2 no out singles. After a strikeout for the 1 out the runner steals 3B to put runners on the corners. A run scores on a sac fly for the 2nd out. 9-3 UConn.
