Jones will occasionally turn the mic over to WHUS staffers. For instance, Joe Stickles who was on last week is really good doing baseball play by play. This guy I've heard doing basketball games, he does ok with them, it is his first time doing play by play baseball. Hope he gets better.

He has been very good as the sidekick in the booth. His first experience calling play by play is rocky but I do think he has potential. It is difficult to show emotion in a 17-4 game.

My wife definitely agrees. She mentioned to me that he was doing very well with his comments prior to taking over the play by play.
