No excuse for what happened this weekend.

No excuse for getting their doors blown off by a team that was 1-5-1 and scored 7 goals in 7 games.

Last 4 games of the first half: BC, 2 away at Lowell, and at BC. Won’t see .500 the rest of the season

Well this season has cratered early.

Simply put, Cavanaugh is a dreadful coach. How do you not have your team ready to go against a marginal MC team in the beginning of November.

It is inexcusable - Cavanaugh is a farce!
How he has hung around for a dozen years is a bleeping mystery!!!

Haven’t heard anything since a few weeks ago when Cav said he was week to week.
Does he even want to play this year and burn a year of eligibility on this team? Wonder how many will hit the portal at the end of this season

I don’t think so, this team really works hard and the kids really skates hard every shift. Also the kids really seem to like one another this year. I see a lot of positives.

Strike 2!

They had 4 shots on goal in the first period. On 4 power plays in the second period they had one shot on goal, which was a goal. They dominated the third period, but by then the hole they had dug for themselves was too deep. They were not ready to play tonight. I was there and it showed up in lazy passes and players who looked a step slow in the first and second periods. A very disappointing effort to say the least.

I sat right behind Bomber36. The most exciting part of that woeful game was watching the Huskies’ comeback against UAB on his cellphone.

Yes - the schedule is daunting. That's why you have to win these games! Pairwise is a cruel measuring stick.

We are now 40 in Pairwise. So by the second weekend of November, we are essentially required to win the HE championship to get to the Frozen Four tournament. In other words, we have about the same odds of doing so as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest...

I agree "they deserved it", but who's they? The players are working hard, but they have regressed since the Colgate weekend. This is a coaching problem. It is up to the coaches to keep making adjustments, refining techniques and making changes as necessary. MC should have been a 4-6 point weekend, not a big fat ZERO!

Marilynn says she enjoyed meeting you too. (From Marilynn): “I especially enjoyed meeting a man who can watch a hockey game and a football game at the same time!”

That is very nice of her to say. But honestly, the best part of the night was when you and your fellow vets stood to receive our appreciation for your dedication to this country. That is always my favorite part of any night that honors our armed forces. Thank you for you service. I lost a cousin in Vietnam on 5-17-69 In Thua Thien province. He was an Artillery man and attached to the 101st Airborne. Thank you for your service.

Ed served with Battery C, 2nd Battalion, 319th Artillery Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. He left for Viet Nam when his wife Iris was pregnant with his son. He never got to meet Edward Jr. He was KIA at the Battle for Hamburger Hill on 7 May 1969 (aged 26) in Thua Thiên-Huế, Vietnam.

I, too, was a Redleg (artilleryman) in Vietnam. May SGT Deitman rest in peace. He and I will always be Redlegs. Forever.

I didn’t see Saturday’s game. However, I did DVR it. I hope to watch it on Monday evening

Don‘t bother. if you do, skip to the third period and please don’t try to tell us what a great game they played.
