2-0 UConn lead going to the top of the 6th. Bobby Melley homer accounts for one Husky run. Ronnie Rossomando got the midweek start and has been quite good so far. He has not been struggling with his control.

What sounds like a misplay in the field on a slow roller and a passed ball leads to a Fairfield run in the 6th. Still, Rossomando sounds sharp. 2-1 UConn going into the bottom of the 6th.

Doug Domnarski relieves Rossomando in the top of the 8th. Excellent midweek outing for Rossomando.

Rossomando Twirls Gem in 2-1 Husky Victory
