Bottom 6th, Malcom with a leadoff walk, Dalena drives him in with a no out double. 6-1 UConn. UConn offense leaves 2 runners on base.

Top 7th, Quinn has a scoreless inning after giving up a leadoff walk to former UConn Husky Gavin Greger. 6-1 UConn.
 
Bottom 7th, Broadhurst with a 1 out double. Malcom picks up a 2 out walk, Drew Kron pinch runs for Malcom. Dalena with an RBI double driving in a run, 7-1 UConn. A passed ball advances the runners bringing in a run, 8-1 UConn. Shpur follows with an RBI single, 9-1 UConn. Studley follows with an RBI single, 10-1 UConn.

Freshman Charlie West comes in to pitch for UConn in the top of the 8th.
