Bottom 2, Studley with a 2 out RBI single that drives in 2 runs. 3-0 UConn. Padilla follows with an RBI single, 4-0 UConn. UConn offense leaves 2 runners on base after getting their 3 runs.

Just got back from a trip to see the total eclipse in Vermont. Hoping to begin posting soon, but we'll see. Rather tired from the late night trip we had, and with all the crazy traffic.

Also had a brief computer problem, but it is working now.
 
Top 3rd, Schild with a scoreless inning. He hit a batter with 2 outs, and the runner was caught stealing by Garbowski for the final out. 4-0 UConn.

It's funny, my wife was hoping to view the eclipse in Cleveland, but we were not able to get tickets to the women's basketball final four at a reasonable price like we have in past years.
 
Bottom 3rd, after the Broadhurst homer, UConn offense goes down in order picking up 2 strikeouts. 5-0 UConn.
 
Top 4th, Schild gives up a 1 out single, the runner advances to 2B on a wild pitch. A 1 out single brings in a run, 5-1 UConn. Schild comes out of the game, Carrea takes the mound.

Carrea strikes out the next 2 batters to get out of the inning. 5-1 UConn.

Top 5th, a 1 out single, followed by a throwing error by Carrea and a ground out puts the runner at 3B with 2 out. Carrea comes out of the game. Quinn takes the mound and leaves the runner on base. 5-1 UConn.

Top 6th, Quinn gives up 2 walks, putting 2 runners on base with 2 outs. Quinn ends up having a scoreless inning with 3 strikeouts mixed in with the walks. 5-1 UConn.
