When I saw Simeone was pitching today, I immediately thought "staff day". He's done fine for 2 innings, but as soon as Bryant starts to score runs I expect Simeone to come out. He hasn't thrown many innings this season, so there is no expectation for him to go all that long in this game.

Chris Jones reporting Rossomando hurt his ankle and is not available to pitch today.

More injury updates from Chris Jones. Dandeneau could be back by next week. Rajkowski might be back for the Cincinnati series. No real idea when Polonia might get back.

Is Feldstein turning into an all or nothing guy? Strikes out for the second time today with the bases loaded.

Chris Jones said Feldstein hurt his hand on a hit by pitch on Sunday, which is why Nucerino pinch hit for him in the second game Sunday.

Phillips drives in 2 runs with a single to make it 4-2 with Huskies still up with 1 out.
 
Jeff Kersten seems to have turned in a long man out of the pen when with Cate out and either freshmen Dunlop or Simeone starting. It will be interesting to see if they continue this next week when there are two midweek games.
