Wow....great crowd and great effort when things weren’t looking good. This team has really turned things around since January. I’m a proud Husky fan!

With Uconn hockey closing up the regular season playing teams that were 2, 3, and 4 in the Hockey East standings, I thought that they could be heading to a really rough patch to end the season. Have to say that they got off to a good start to this stretch.

That BC/NE game....wow. What the heck happened? Losing Tyler Madden can’t make that much of a difference.

I don't follow college hockey much...I know this team had some bad losses, but they are over .500 in Hockey East...any chance they get votes for a ranking?
 
Payusiv got the goal by Ben Freeman made the play. Plus got the tying goal. Not flashy but a tough hard nosed hockey player.

I predicted RV wrong 3 times already this season, but if they sweep, it wil be hard not based on how they’ve played

Great game. How was that not a boarding penalty against firstov?
 
That was a tremendous college hockey game. And a really good crowd but our crowds dont really get hockey I think. Who the heck starts the wave in the middle of the 3rd period of a 1 goal game? I’d also like to hear more band and less of the recorded music.

that's exactly what I though when I saw the replay. That looked far more like boarding then the boarding BS call on us up in Maine in the final minutes to make it a 5-on-3. It looked like he was facing the boards and got drilled from behind.

It happened in the last game we had a huge crowd against UNH I believe. I think it has to do with a lot more kids going to the games the last few weeks honestly. Plus BU (and us) had turned the game into a cycle of us turning over the puck in the neutral zone, them dumping it in, us trying to clear it and if we did we just handed it right back over...and then repeat from the time they got the 3rd goal until we tied it. It was painful to sit through as a UConn fan so I think the fans were looking for some reason to move.

And another thing - it's a treat to see a team like BU who usually (with the exception of the last play of the game) know how to move the puck out of their end so smoothly with good tape to tape passing and player movement.

With a sweep of BU...maaaaaaayyyyyyybe. We are on a hot streak and we might get some attaboy points. But probably not.

Much more likely if we keep the hot streak going against Amherst and Lowell.

When they were announcing UConns lineup some of the BU players came off their blue line and did some practice shooting without a puck. Thought that was not so classy and weird.
Is an imaginary slap shot from the slot going to help you at that point

So....elephant in the room. Where does Cav stand with you based on this latest run? Earlier in the season, many of us were calling for a change. Just taking the pulse of some of our more knowledgeable fans. It does seem pretty obvious that he’s not going anywhere unless he decides to leave on his own.
 
UVM 0 Maine 0 after one. UVM had a five minute PP but could put one home. They were tied 1-1 after the first yesterday, so I’m not putting much stock in this.
