Bottom 7th, Biller leads off with a single, he steals 2B with no out. Biller moves to 3B on a ground out. With 2 outs Daniels is intentionally walked putting runners on the corners. Daniels steals 2B. Both runners steal another base, bringing in a run, 6-3 UConn.

Minick pinch runs for MacArthur, Minick will no doubt take over at 1B after this inning. Biller follows with a single, putting runners on the corners. A wild pitch moves both runners up a base, bringing in a run, 8-4 UConn.

Rispoli draws a walk, and Shpur gets an infield single to load the bases. Daniels follows with a grand salami!! 12-4 UConn.

Alejandro is warming up in the bullpen, no doubt he will come in to pitch in the 9th with at least an 8 run lead.

A number of years ago, Chris Jones and Randy Brochu worked together for a season doing radio broadcasts for the Norwich minor league team. This was after Chris Jones graduated from UConn.

So, Hutchinson, Peters and Caruso give Penders and coach Mac something to think about. Abedessa looked better as well. Something to build off on the pitching front. Hitting wise, is Biller coming out of his funk? If so, with Lane getting some hits, the lineup feels longer.

I feel like the pieces are there for this team. We’ve got enough bats, and while the pitching staff has been largely inconsistent, I feel that enough arms have shown the potential to be reliable. The key is all of it coming together at the right time for us. 10 wins in a row is a good start, as shaky as some of the wins have been. Just keep winning and keep building off the positives!

This streak has grabbed my attention back from mlb. To be honest, lost track of the team for the past month or so - now I think I'll try to make it out to at least one more game this season! Don't let the dream die.
