Top 3rd, the UConn offense has the bases loaded with no outs. Tirado draws a walk with no outs that brings in a run. 4-0 UConn.

A run scores on a fielders choice ground out for the 2nd out by Wachter. 5-0 UConn.

Top 4th, a lead off double by Rispoli, he steals 3B. A sac fly for the 1st out by Menzel brings in a run. 6-0 UConn.

Marshall follows with a 1 out walk, he moves to 2B on a Dalena fly out for the 2nd out, he is left on base.

Pudvar gets the next batters out and ends the inning with a strikeout. 7-2 UConn.
 
Top 6th, Menzel leads off with a double, he moves to 3B on a fly out for the 1st out. It ends up being a scoreless inning for the UConn offense. 7-2 UConn.

Bottom 6th, Pudvar gets a pop out for the 1st out, and then comes out of the game. Smith takes the mound for UConn.

With 2 outs Smith issues a walk followed by a single. A ground out ends the inning. 7-2 UConn.

I would go with Finn soon, since we didn’t use him yesterday. Nice job by Smith there.

Righi pinch hits for Belisario who has an injury that prevents him from batting, Righi grounds out to end the inning. 11-2 UConn.
