I would feel more confident in getting a win if either Syracuse or BC were at Rentschler rather than Duke. Feel Duke is much stronger than those 2.The major question before the house this season is UConn vs. the ACC
We have a legit shot to win all of these games. I want to go with what I’m used to and say we win either 0 or 1, but that doesn’t fit the narrative I have in my head for how this season should go. I’m going to say we win 2 or 3 and we have the season we’ve all been dying for. Let’s just run over everyone with our stable of good running backs and keep them off balance with Joe and Skylar leading the way through the air. Lots of weapons running and receiving and a very experienced QB on this team. This is the year.
Both BC and Duke I think play Clemson the week before us and I think brings about the same mentality as Cuse coming off the Tennessee week. I think all 3 are coming into their games against us motivated to atone for prior week.No clue but I like how the schedule shakes out:
1. Cuse will lose to Tennessee and will have big pressure to beat us especially if we go up early.
2. Bye week before BC
3. Duke at the rent. Maybe it’ll be a little chilly/rainy and throw them off?
It's like 600 miles for me, but tell ya what, if we're undefeated going into that game I just might make the trip as well.Told my wife to get ready for a 11-0 road trip to FAU. Only 823 miles, my 2007 Honda Pilot will get us there (old Honda's last forever).
Me too unless there is skiing somewhere in the east. It's like 600 miles for me, but tell ya what, if we're undefeated going into that game I just might make the trip as well.
I want bothGotta think that if anyone on the coaching staff sees this thread they will chuckle. The overall win-loss record is not so important. What the fans really want now is wins over the ACC. That is a whole lot different proposition than a couple years ago and represents progress for the program. And a much greater possibility for disappointment. The bar is a whole lot higher now.
I think they all have tough games following us - a good trap game set up.Both BC and Duke I think play Clemson the week before us and I think brings about the same mentality as Cuse coming off the Tennessee week. I think all 3 are coming into their games against us motivated to atone for prior week.
Never a good thing. Throws the timing all off and football is a game of timing.2. Bye week before BC
The offset is that time off could heal injuries.Never a good thing. Throws the timing all off and football is a game of timing.
We might be able to pick off Cuse - they'll be still assimilating a new QB and coming off a beat down at TennesseeWe will beat BC.....but lose to Duke and Cuse.
If UConn beats both 'Cuse and BC, that Duke game will be awesome. We might be able to pick off Cuse - they'll be still assimilating a new QB and coming off a beat down at Tennessee
