Cursed…
Heaslip could have had a 100 tries against Fowler on his breakaway and score maybe 3 times. It isn’t luck. It’s not.
Shots on goal!Love our compete!
He’s won about 100 participation trophies. It’s not worth getting annoyed about any longer.
The program with Cavanaugh will always be mediocre. He is not the guy to bring this program to the next level.
The program is just stuck in a sort of purgatory with him at the helm. However, he is not going anywhere so it is what it is for seasons to come.
At least our fans won’t get tired standing up for goals. It’s a long drive home from Storrs.Four home games
Three shutouts
Three goals
Yes. UConn played very well. Really good puck support along the boards. Their forecheck put a lot of pressure on BC’s very talented D corps. UConn’s penalty kill was solid as well. UConn also did a decent job moving the puck out of their own zone. BC did not really have too much sustained pressure in UConn’s zone.Love our compete!
Yes. UConn played very well.
Sorry, as frustrated as I am, I just don’t agree with this take. Maybe it’s the optimist in me, but there you have it.No. They didn’t.
BC sat back and waited for UConn to show any semblance of offensive competence. They did not. They were correct.
UConn is not going to be able to get the players BC or BU get. BC and BU get the crème of the crop of hockey talent in Hockey East. Always have, always will. BC and BU both got really good hauls this year. The good thing is most will move on after this year. UConn needs to develope the 2nd tier guys that are going to stay for 4 years. UConn will be okay. They will win their share of games.Seven months ago, in the same building, UConn scored 6 goals on BC. They peppered them that weekend.
Since then, BC brought in an incredible recruiting class and UConn, sans Joe Pereira, did not. Richard is good. But the roster is drastically worse.
Tonight is the result.
