UConn v. #4/3 UMass Lowell (12/2 @ UML >> 12/3 @ XL)

amy chance of a ranking? How many votes? 10+? I know UCONN is still new, but away BU and UML wins got count for something.

As long as he doesn't start with energy vampires, fish cakes, batman or any of the other bulls**t Diaco spews we should be ok.
Cav's exactly right. And he's been coaching in this league for 20 years so he's got a pretty good clue what he's talking about.

in 7th place with 8 pts. A win vs a tie against Umass Amherst would have made us in the 6th but a tie for 3rd. Every point counts! Let's beat em in front of live TV this Friday in the last HE home game before break.

I could not be more serious. Harrington has chunks of Merrill and Fleming in his stool.
My goodness, you must have your head where that stool is coming from and you think it is him singing.:rolleyes:

If they can just get their record up above 500, the Huskies will be ranked. Maybe even before.

Maybe a dump question. Do you need to be at minimum .500% to be ranked. If yes , we could be ranked next week if we beat UMass this Friday. That would get us to 6-6-6
It doesn't appear so as Providence received a couple of vote in the USCHO poll with a sub .500 winning %.

UConn's gotta start consistently beating the teams they are supposed to beat. They are a little too dependent on their goal tending right now. And they seem to think they can mail it in without the required intensity when playing lesser teams. That costs them. Of course, this disease is nothing new. They have had it for decades and is probably caused by trying to play above their talent level.

There's no requirement to be ranked, it's all based on voting. But losing to Sacred Heart, tying AIC/Colgate/RIT, and 2/5 of the wins coming against UAH isn't going to sway a lot of voters even with the ND, BU, and UML wins.

That said the USCHO poll is meaningless, the Hockey East standings are a much better barometer for the program and their postseason prospects.
